Christmas Shopping Made Easy

I have been busy working the last few weeks so my Christmas shopping, which I was doing so well with, has come to a halt. There are so many great on-line stores now though, that as long as I can find some time to browse the net, I can carry on and I thought I’d share a few of my finds with you, just in case any of you are still looking for ideas for family and friends. I have put quite a few children’s gifts in my choices but I make no apologies for this, Christmas is a great time for us all but a truly magical time for children and I love buying the children in my family or friends little ones gifts. As my mum has always told me it’s better to give than to receive~well most of the time!

These classic novels come bound with embroidered covers. An object of beauty forever!

I love giving and receiving books. I know Kindle’s are a great gadget but I love the feel and smell of books and for a stylist you can never have too many images for inspiration. This Jane Packer book is brilliant for any frustrated florist and gives you loads of hints and tips for making the most of flowers in the home and we all know a simple bunch can transform a room. I know this isn’t my Christmas list but I have a good friend that I share similar tastes with and I always know if I would like something than so would she!

These tea towels are a really quirky gift for any budding chef. Designed by Donna Wilson, there’s one for the girls and one for the boys.

I love looking for one off gifts from auction websites and car boot sales and this is brilliant for anybody who works from home and likes a little vintage.

If you can’t find an original perpetual calendar like the one above, this version is from Notonthehighstreet. There are vintage versions available from Pedlars for those of you with very deep pockets!

I love the sentiment behind this piece of artwork. It would bring a smile to your face every day you looked at it.

Now I know I have said that this isn’t a wish list for myself but I know Mr B reads my blog from time to time, so I thought I’d take the opportunity to show these shoes which I love, love, love! They are expensive but they are just so adorable.

I’m not quite finished yet so if I find anything else that I think you might like or find useful, I’ll let you know. Happy Christmas shopping to you all and if it all gets too much there’s always mulled wine!
