The celebrated hair dresser Vidal Sassoon who sadly died today, will always be remembered for his ground breaking hair styles of the 1960’s. He liberated women’s hair from the structured bee hives of the 1950’s with his signature geometric cutting skills. Icons of the 1960’s such as Twiggy and Mary Quant were his clients and he made a young Mia Farrow instantly recognisable with her short crop for the film Rosemary’s baby. R.I.P Mr Sassoon, you were a genius and a true maverick!
