Christmas Decorations

Next week, I will get the chance to spend a couple of weeks at home after a mammoth 10 week photo shoot and I’m looking forward to finishing my Christmas shopping, writing Christmas cards and as soon as my daughters birthday has passed on 5th December, the tree and the decorations will go up.

We bought a few new decorations yesterday from Marks & Spencer, who currently have a 3 for 2 offer on and have a great selection of Christmas adornments. I love the laser cut street scene lantern they are selling.

Similar versions, in tin, are available from online retailer Rose & grey who have a lovely selection of decorations.

BHS have released some lovely press images for the Christmas Season, with great prices and yesterday they had 30% off everything in store. Not sure how long this offer runs for but they are certainly worth a pit stop while you’re out shopping.

The White company have kept the children in mind with this collection of decorations.

If you have the time to be creative there are some simple ideas that require very little money and not much more imagination but still look stylish and classic. You really can’t go wrong with berries and twigs at Christmas.

There’s still time to look for Christmas props to use around the house and nothing says winter wonderland better than a vintage sledge, ice skates and skis. Ebay have some great bargains and there’s still plenty of time for delivery.

If in doubt and you’ve left everything until the last minute, and who hasn’t done that before, throw some white lights around and create instant magic.
