Normcore Trend

There’s a new trend being talked about called Normcore, which is basically a buzzword for dressing casually, without too much thought to what you’re wearing, which is ironic, as it’s now a trend, which means there will be a lot of thought going into what you’re wearing whilst trying to look normal? Keeping up?

Anyway I’m all over it and I didn’t even realise I was trending? For years it’s been known as tomboy style and it’s an easy peasy look for work, rest & play and my idea of heaven. Most people would call it having no style but I’m OK with that too.

I know I haven’t mentioned Alexa Chung for a while, but I’m going to now. She was a forerunner for this look along with Celine designer Phoebe Philo and it’s long been an off duty look for models for many a season.

Think J Crew, Gap & Comptoirs des Cotonniers, add a pair of New Balance and you’ve got it. Normcore, the best of the new trends? What do you think?
