A couple of years ago I met Sasha Gibbs at an Interior trade show, where she had a stand showcasing her beautiful re-cycled boiled wool cushions. She told me how she buys vintage wool blankets and then hand dyes them using vegetable dyes, working from her home on the island of Jersey. The simplicity of her creations appeal to a wide audience from minimalists and architects through to people who appreciate the quality and heritage value of a recycled piece. Sasha’s designs can be purchased through high end retailers such as The Cross and Liberty in London.
The shots of her home and work were captured by the talented photographer Kristin Perers, more of her work to come, on a later post.
