Dutch Master

As part of my job I am for ever flicking through interior magazines and although it is a part of my job that I love, I do become quite blase to many of the interiors shown. Although the homes are always stunning, there are only so many mid 20th century ranch style homes and vintage style eclectic homes you can look at without feeling as though you have seen it all before. Now and again though, there is something though that stops me in my tracks and in this months UK Elle Decoration, is one such home.

This dutch house owned by a couple who run an interiors shop, is a master class in how to pull off dark wall colours, offset with collections of quirky finds and salvaged items. The selection of wood tones through out their home warms the space and the whole thing is just beautiful, interesting and yet homely.
