H is For Home Vintage and Retro

When ever we go to Hebden Bridge, which is a great place for small independent shops and vintage shopping, we always call in at Todmorden, which is an old Lancashire Mill town. The Picture House Antiques on Rochdale Road, is set over three floors, in a lovely Victorian building, right next door to The Bear Cafe and shop and is always worth a snoop around.

One of my favourite retailers within this shop is, H is for Home, which is a carefully curated collection of retro items for the home. Amongst the stock I saw this week were, angle poise lamps, metal industrial filing cabinets, old school, plywood, stacking children’s chairs, retro fabrics and cushions, lots of retro kitchenalia and some great 1960’s framed posters advertising British Seaside destinations.

There is also an online store, with a large range of ever changing stock and regular updates on their blog, featuring tantalising glimpses of items they have picked up on their travels that will be in the store or online soon.

You're very welcome, you have a lovely shop, which is always consistent with good stock. I always try and write about small, good independent businesses, its what our High Street needs.
