My favourite is Stiffkey Blue, not only for the beautiful deep blue hue, but also because I have such wonderful memories of Stiffkey, a small coastal village on the North Norfolk coast, which we visited in our VW camper when our children were little. The village has a great campsite,High Sand Creek, which is totally uncommercialised and a haven for small children.
The colour has had many admirers this week after I used it on a set I am working on for a Spring/Summer ’14 publication. I wish I could show you the shot and how the blue frames the furniture so well, but unfortunately my hands are tied as the client has full ownership until it’s published.
