Stylish Eco Design for the Home and free Giveaway

As the concept of sustainable living becomes much more popular, designers are increasingly being challenged to develop products that are eco friendly.

A company that has recently come onto my radar is Darwins Home whose manifesto is, to sell stylish sustainable homewares that are better for the planet and better for us. To meet their product criteria everything they sell has to be sustainable, from recycled materials or able to be recycled, made in Europe or the fair trade charter and be a timeless, durable, designer piece.

In the past eco products, have had a reputation of being more expensive, but this seems to be changing and at Darwins prices are very competitive.

These are just of a few of the lovely items they have on their online store, that caught my eye.

Recycled paper vessels

Turkish Hammam towel

Fun & quirky bread basket

Stylish white and silver storage baskets

As my first ever, free giveaway,  drum roll please, Darwins have kindly sent me this Newton milk jug with integral sugar bowl. A clever design by Tonfisk Design Finland.

Here it is styled in my own kitchen. It’s a great space saving idea, high on style, low on storage and all you lovely readers have to do to win it, is follow my blog, through google, email or via Bloglovin, all links are on the sidebar of my blog. If you enter through Rafflecopter, I will automatically get your email address so that I can get in touch if you’re the winner! Of course all my current readers are already entered, that goes without saying, all you have to do is leave a comment on this post, which is easy peasy. The name of the winner will be revealed on Friday, so good luck everybody!
