Hot on the heels of my trip to Amsterdam, more of which later,it seems there is a Dutch flavour in the air. Mondrian and his studio, is the new exhibition due to open on 6th June at The Tate Liverpool.
The exhibition sounds very interesting and exciting and will include a life size reconstruction of Mondrian’s studio at the time he was working in Paris, and focuses on the influence architecture played in his work. Who can forget the work that inspired Yves Saint Laurent to create his Mondrian collection in the 1960’s, when Paris was swinging?
I always try and take in exhibitions at The Tate, we are so lucky to have such an amazing gallery in the North West and past exhibitions there have never disappointed, they certainly seem to have talented team of curators there.
The exhibition runs from June to October with tickets now on sale.
